One Crazy Little Family
I’d like to share my story again. I was asked what true love is. This picture sums it up. This is my world. My son Dominic. The “sick” child I CHOSE LIFE for. I’m glad I did. If I can choose life for a “sick” child, why can’t other people? A sick baby is not a valid reason to abort. Neither is “not being ready”. I wasn’t ready. I had him at 16. No mother is ever ready for a child like my son. I still chose life. And “I could die” is not a valid reason either. I almost did. I also broke my tailbone in labor and now am disabled. My son almost died too. Still chose life. “My fetus could have (insert *horrible disease here*). So? My son has X-Linked Myotubular Myopathy. He wasn’t supposed to live. He’s had more surgeries than you will ever have in your life. He’s not supposed to live to adulthood. I STILL CHOSE LIFE. Come at me, but I promise you I will have a valid reason why abortion isn’t the answer, and I might even have a personal story to go with it.
